Dr. Neil Kelleher was profiled in an October Success Story from the Chicago Biomedical Consortium. The profile highlighted Neil’s recent publication in Nature Methods which proposed a new method for categorizing proteoforms, using a universal, five-level classification process. If adopted internationally, Neil’s system could streamline proteoform classification in other labs, unify language surrounding proteomics and significantly advance research in the field.
